Production Controller

This is a very good opportunity for a graduate or 2nd jobber keen to develop sound book production knowledge combined with customer care skills. Working as part of a busy team you will provide production services to some of Imago’s key publishing accounts.

The ideal candidate will have gained production experience in a book publishing or printing environment or have a publishing qualification.   “Must have” qualities are a confident and friendly manner, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to work under one’s own initiative.  Applicants should be computer literate, numerate, accurate and have excellent organisational skills.

Key duties include :
- sending out requests for quotations and quoting out to clients
- following up enquiries by telephone with clients
- liaising between clients and Imago's overseas offices and suppliers to facilitate smooth running of projects
- assisting team members with general correspondence and admin

Production Coordinator

As a Production Coordinator in the world's leading print production service organisation, you will be a member of a team responsible for supplying manufacturing services to our book publishing clients, providing them with the highest level of quality and service.

A minimum of 4 years experience in 4c trade and books plus production is required; an understanding of current US and European safety issues is preferred.

Duties will include developing project specifications with our clients, estimating, maintaining schedules and quality requirements, working in tandem with our Imago colleagues in our Far East offices to ensure smooth production flow.

Applicants should possess the following skills:

- Time managements and multi-tasking skills
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word, Outlook and Excel) and Graphics applications
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Clear and responsive communications
